Mercat de Mercats

Food festival in the gothic neighbourhood the other week. Amazing food, couldn´t get enough.

And some demonstrations on the way back home.

Which I´m getting very used to after 2 months in the city. One day it´s all Catalan flags in the streets, the next day it´s all Spanish.

It´s not at all like what you read in the news though.. there´s no chaos or violence. All I´ve seen is friendly demonstrations with a lot of flags and a lot of singing and chanting. I´ve had to cruise through many of these crowds, in many different streets and plazas, and it has never been the slightest bit of scary - quite the opposite actually.

Although I of course hope it all calms down a bit and that they reach some kind of conclusion.
